Founded in 2026 in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, ProFire Inspect was born directly out of the insurance and fire protection industries. Co-owned by two industry professionals, our roots lie deep in understanding the real-world operational and risk-management challenges that contractors face every single day.

The Story Behind the App

The idea for ProFire Inspect came from a real problem observed on the ground. One of our co-founders—a commercial insurance broker specializing in the fire protection industry—noticed a major bottleneck affecting a key client’s business.

Every week, that contractor was spending two full days manually retyping handwritten field inspection reports into Word documents, converting them into PDFs, and organizing them for clients.

Seeing hours wasted on repetitive administrative work instead of growing the business or spending time with family, we knew there had to be a better way. We built ProFire Inspect to solve this exact problem:
